Refund policy
This policy is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer (as summarised in our Terms & Conditions). We aim to make returns simple and fair.
1. Your Right to Change Your Mind (14-Day Cancellation Period)
If you’re a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason. You don’t need to give us a reason.

How to Cancel: Notify us within the 14-day period by emailing hello@schaferautomotive.com. Please include your order number.

Returning the Goods: You then have a further 14 days to send the items back to us. They must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition.

Refund: We will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof you’ve sent them back (whichever is sooner). This refund includes the standard delivery cost you paid.

Return Postage Cost: You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless they are faulty.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Your Statutory Rights)
If your item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not what you ordered, you have legal rights to a repair, replacement, or refund.

Please contact us immediately at hello@schaferautomotive.com with your order number and details of the issue (photos are helpful).

We will cover the cost of return postage for faulty or incorrect items.

We will resolve the issue promptly, usually by sending a replacement or issuing a full refund (including delivery), as per your choice and our assessment.
3. Items You Cannot Return
For hygiene and safety, you cannot return the following unless faulty:

Personalised or custom-made items.

Opened software or media.

Any item that is not in its original, resaleable condition.
4. How to Return an Item

Contact us first at hello@schaferautomotive.com to get a Returns Authorisation (RMA) number.

Pack the item securely in its original packaging, include any accessories, and note the RMA number on the parcel.

Send the parcel using a tracked service to the address we provide. We cannot be responsible for items lost in transit back to us.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the return.
